Archform: Beauty

Four centuries into the future, the world is rich as nanomachines watch the health of the wealthy & manufacture food & gadgets for everybody.
It is not, however, Utopia. As we see through the lives of five very different people:- a singing teacher, a police investigator, a politicians, a business man, & a news researcher.
What is wrong with this coddled cocoon where society's every need is taken care of?
Sr. Staff Reviewer D. H. BROWN writes:
L. E. Modesitt is better known for his fantasy series, though occasionally he makes a foray into hard futuristic sci-fi. He lends his hand to Archform: Beauty which is the exquisite telling of a mystery thriller set in a future fraught with imagination. His characters are thinkers & doers.
Archform: Beauty comes to its conclusion only after screeching turns & hair-raising bends.
Archform: Beauty is set in a Utopia tainted with elitism & only Utopian if you can afford the ride. I loved it!
L. E. Modesitt writes with a verve & daring rarely seen & always welcome. This is definitely a book worth engaging. I recommend it highly.
