2002 TOR Books
ISBN: 0765300176

In this continuing story of Bean & Petra, & the rest of Ender's Dragon Army, Ender's older brother has a better idea for the world & sets about creating a whole new government.
Sr. Staff Review D. H. BROWN writes:
Let me say, right at the beginning, that I am a huuuuge fan of the writings of Orson Scott Card, & if you expect me to rant about the mundaneness of Shadow Puppets, you're going to be disappointed. When an editor at TOR offered me the chance to review Card's latest work, I jumped at the chance.
Many a year ago, when I first laid hands & eyes on Ender's Game, I became so engrossed that I did an extremely rare thing, I read it twice, & have since re-read it a handful of times.
I have read & re-read all of the other books of Ender's Earth. I am quite aware that some individuals look askance at some of these later works of the Ender Saga. However, I find Orson Scott Card's ability to mine this universe he has created, utterly fascinating.
Shadow Puppets answered so many questions, & unearthed so many new nuggets, I again found myself totally involved.
I think what I like most about Orson Scott Card's writing is the very human foibles that he allows his characters to have, & thereby, granting them the freedom to rise & fall on those same foibles.
So, if you became an instant fan of the Ender series when you read Ender's Game or Ender's Shadow, I am sure you too will be happy with the literary feed served up in Shadow Puppets.
Mr. Card, my hat's off to you, many kudos, & should you find more to mine from the Ender Universe, I shall be waiting to gobble it down!
Shadow Puppets is a must buy!
