I hadn't given much thought to angels before Johanna asked me to review her lovely work, so I found the messages that had been channeled to this artist, absorbing, calming & thought-provoking.

Johanna, a life long artist & diviner of spiritual life tells the story of how the angels started coming through to her after the Harmonic Convergence & how she began painting the beautiful images that fill this little book. The rainbow of colors, their healing properties, the wearing of clothes & the meditations are all gentle affirmations of energies beyond our ken made manifest.

There are Invocations to murmur as you work through the rainbow of spiritual healings offered; descriptions of each angel's purpose such as self-love, unlocking what is hidden in the unconscious & manifesting ideas on the material plane.

There are also removable cards, just the right size for slipping in a pocket to be used as meditational tools, carried about as kind & centering companions.

During The Angels of the Rays project, Johanna found she could go to the angels & they would tell her what they did: “They are always giving me advice but only when I ask, as they will not interfere with my free will.” In painting an angel, Johanna always begins with the eyes: “The eyes are the window to the soul. Through the eyes, the rest of the angel creates itself. I can just watch it unfold.”

I have enjoyed Johanna's artwork for many years, relishing in her unique, lyrical, womanly vision of life & her work hangs in galleries in the United States, Canada & Mexico & is sold through various outlets.
