More Than a Gift Book for Cat Lovers.
Associate Reviewr Carolyn Howard-Johnson writes:
Who would have believed that your cat could do more for your home than knock over plants & snag the upholstery? Alison Daniels, author of Feng Shui for You and Your Cat, that's who.
In a paperback more beautiful that most coffee table books, she & Watson-Guptill Publications bring together the history & mysteries surrounding both cats & feng shui. They throw in a little yin & yang, understanding of chi & proceed to show you how you can make your home more comfortable for you & your cat using your kitty's natural sense for feng shui. Along the way you'll discover how all aspects -- from your luck to your wealth -- might be affected.
Feng Shui for You and Your Cat makes a perfect gift book because the design appeals to the senses. Heavy paper, a fold-leaf on both covers, photography & design that mysteriously attracts like a Full Moon, or mist on a moor. Art Director, Peter Bridgewater, deserves an extra dose of credit.
Though this book is exquisite & themed, one should not mistake it for fluff. It is filled with practical advice about both living & living with a cat. It includes sections on your home & garden, a glossary, suggestion for further reading, & an index so beautiful you'll want to thumb through it even if you don't need to look anything up.
