A police officer finds himself hunting for the killer of the young girl whose ghost appears to him.
Mitchell Parks, with a background in extreme law enforcement & a former Navy SEAL, has been content in keeping the peace of his home town until one day, while up in the attic of the house he bought a while ago, his partner sees a vision manifest itself. In time the girl's ghost pleads with him for peace, & the sleeping Warrior stirs within.
It doesn't help that his neighbors seem to know about this young girl & yet won't...or can't help him.
With his partner, Det. Dana Warren, & a former SEAL dive buddy, Mitchell Parks follows the clues even as they lead to the top of the police department, asks the hard questions of both the ghost & those who remember what happened, & feels the awakening of his warrior too long ignored during his civilian life.
This is a fast-paced adventure, quite well written with an inventive introduction to the inner life of a Warrior, an interesting angle on an old story, a memorable hero & heroine...& not nearly long enough!
