 The Ides of March
 Ron Cutler
 (Sr. Staff Reviewer - D. H. BROWN)

 2000 iUniverse.com
  ISBN: 0595006175

Book Cover

McCord, an experienced intelligence officer with the NSA, is sent to investigate a mysterious disturbance on the Ugandan border.

Under the cover of raging civil war, Russian scientists, once part of Biopreparat, the top secret Soviet bio-weapons facility, have been experimenting with the use of a lethal new weapon which is destroying the local population.

Before McCord can get there, terrorists attack the Russians' camp & hijack the weapon. One terrorist survives, & in his infected state carries the genetic code for possible treatment.

McCord sets out on the trail of this lethal fugitive.

Senior Staff Reviewer D. H. BROWN writes:

When this book arrived in the mail from the author, Rebecca put it in my pile as it dealt with subject matter on which I had strong views -- that is the proliferation of bioterrorism. In my opinion, the scourge of which we have only just begun to see.

I've never read anything else by Ron Cutler but found The Ides of March completely engaging from page one. Definitely kept the chills moving along my spine & never allowed the hair on the back of my neck to lie down until several days after I finished The Ides of March.

If a reader desires to catch a glimpse into the perilous shades of bioterrorism in which we are beginning to live, read this book!

I found The Ides of March fully fleshed, plausible, & bigger than life! Find it, buy it & read it! Because whether you are happy or sad that you do, you will not forget it!
