Secrets & Sensible Advice for a Great Body. An elegant & charming lifelong companion, encouraging you to explore your body image issues & your lifestyle.

It's all about transforming the quality of your life; transforming your relationship to food, how you shop, what you buy, how to prepare it & also how to eat it. Amazingly enough, what we eat, how much of it & why we eat what we eat is at the root of our overweight. A no -brainer you mutter, well, it does bear thinking about. On a daily basis, with kindness. The Duchess suggests you start keeping a food journal & write down everything that passes your lips. Oops, oh no!

We have such a tendency to come onto ourselves like a great grouch of a judge: tsk-tsk-ing at ourselves for succumbing to that piece of pie, those savories or the snack that ended up the size of a meal. In this book a snack is: a banana, an apple, a cup of yogurt - well not quite yogurt - as you & I know it - this is aspartame-sweetened, artificial flavored, non-fat yogurt. Hey, I'm told you can get used to it!

Then we've got to remember to exercise too. What I suddenly noticed while perusing this pretty, informative book by a celebrity I've liked & admired since she burst on the scene as the fiancee to the Queen of England's second son Andrew, is that The Duchess has indeed got it. She's gotten it right! She's become friends with herself & she's passing that humor, no-nonsense & compassionate outlook on to us.

Well, our Sarah has certainly changed! She's still forthright, talkative & inventive. I still like her too. She's articulate about the craziness of her life & about what it took to get herself in control. Weight Watchers has become a tried & true foundation (since 1963) upon which to explore your food consumption & transform a flamboyant & disorderly lifestyle into a lifetime of healthy, satisfying habits.

How Do You Handle Stress? Well, what a section! The Duchess explains about “Felony Abuse: all foods are fine in moderation as long as you maintain a low-fat, balanced diet over the long haul. The truth is, indulging from time to time will reduce the urge to cheat or binge.”

Dieting with The Duchess is a pretty & kind gift to give yourself as well as a couple of friends. Buddy up together & enjoy the journey.

Well done, Duchess, you too Weight Watchers!
