Divinely Inspired is a thorough memoir of Jerry Pollock's fear- & pain-filled childhood with undemonstrative, dysfunctional parents & recurring migraines, through his college years & his determination to succeed in his chosen academic field of pharmacy until the migraines return in his late 20s. It is, however, as he approaches his 50s that the depression takes hold & brings him to a standstill.

Given the times in which Jerry Pollock matured (1960-1990) & his quick & questing mind, he explored a number of cultish & unsubstantiated systems in the burgeoning healing techniques of the New Age, sometimes piling even more symptoms & distress onto his already full plate.
