The Baron Son is a league apart from other personal & business development texts. Instead of being dry, like typical “How-To ” manuals, The Baron Son immediately draws your into a highly dramatic story of a young man who loses everything his: mother during childbirth, his father at the hands of a king who orders his execution, & his home after the boy is forced to flee lest he suffer his father's fate. Readers, alongside three students who seek out the Baron, learn his story & his secrets to becoming the most powerful man in the world.
As I journeyed through The Baron Son, I faced challenges. Quite frankly, I got tired of hearing the belly aching. In the early chapters, the grieving Baron wants to secure a regular income & rebuild his father's school in order to teach common people the laws of gold. However, he repeatedly claims “I don't have the money; I don't have any ideas; I don't know how or where. No one will help me. No one will understand what I want to do -- everyone will laugh at me.” Shut up, already!
Just when I thought I could not take it anymore, I began to understand: I am the Baron! I was not frustrated & annoyed by a fictional character. I was frustrated & annoyed with myself! The only challenge I faced was me!
The Baron Son forced me to reflect on why I had not, before the book, taken the steps necessary to attain all that I had envisioned for myself.
Necessity, vision, determination & an unrelenting mentor drive the Baron to overcome his destitution & acquire wealth by creating value for others. These same things along with this book are what have driven me to advance my station & develop my own business.
Often it takes reading many texts & piecing together information & tidbits over an extended period of time before some individuals have the foundation required to start businesses, or venture into new things, particularly those that will force you to change your life. Fortunately, I was able to establish & strengthen my base with one complete text. The Baron Son reshaped my outlook on generating wealth & value for my community, my posterity & myself.
Put aside books by Suze Orman, Robert Kiyosaki & Dr. Spencer Johnson -- Vicky Therese Davis, William R. Patterson & D. Marques Patton have comprehensively combined the fundamentals of business, personal finance, philosophy, psychology & self-improvement that will allow you to realize your potential & your goals.
