Now Bert & Mavis are city mice, let loose on the West Coast, & when Bert is attacked by a huge Pacific Ocean seagull, their lives suddenly change.

However, Angus, M.D., comes to the rescue & the couple decide to settle down & raise a family, & the life of a community begins.

The Great Cannon Beach Mouse Caper is quite a thick read, each chapter is full of details about setting up beach life on a new frontier, meeting humans, making discoveries, building sandcastles, & taking flight on a kite.
