How can you protect yourself from the storms of life? Feeling sad when a boy doesn't call you? Your ideas about food & your body changes? Where can you find comfort, guidance & confidence? Look inside this book of inspirational cards & start writing in your journal.
Scribble your thoughts; sketch your dreams; revise love letters; plan your future; start a novel or finish a poem in this whimsical journal just waiting for your company. Fill its pages with doodles, stickers & photos.
As a lifetime journal writer, I was thrilled when Protect This Girl's Journal came my way. I have given it to a youngster in my life with the loving instructions to write in it everyday or only sometimes - just write - you will be amazed at how refreshed you will feel afterward!
In tandem with the journal, comes a book of detachable cards of words of inspiration from girl to girl which you can stick up on your mirror, your walls, in your school books or use as a bookmarker. Keep them around so they'll remind you that: you are good enough; forgiving helps heal your mind; friendship is the greatest of gifts; stuffed animals are good at keeping secrets; I don't need a boy to make me feel good about myself; have fun but keep yourself safe & so many more!
Zoe writes: “I dreamed up the sayings in this book late one night while I waited for a boy to call. I was sad...& I needed something to make me feel better...my girlfriends thought they were cool...I never in a million words planned or expected [these cards] to turn into a book, but I'm glad they have....”
Both the Protect This Girl's Journal & the book of Protect This Girl Cards will make fantastic gifts from girl to girl as well as mother to daughter or aunt to niece. I do recommend them heartily.
As an aside: Zoe comments that when she showed her inspirational cards to friends who were boys they were unimpressed - just so many words on pieces of paper.
