Harry Potter and The Goblet of Fire
J.K. Rowling
2000 Scholastic Press, NY, USA
ISBN: 0439139597
The fourth Harry Potter book has reached a new level. There's a bit more violence, & a taste of basic teen dilemmas; Eloise Mulligan tries to curse her pimples off, but not to worry, they fix her nose back on in the end! Harry has a crush on Cho, a very pretty fellow student at Hogwarts, the school for witchcraft & wizardry. But not only Harry has butterflies.
In this edition there is no Quidditch, but there is The Triwizard Contest, in which Harry has an unexpectedly big part. Students from two other magical schools from around Europe arrive, & The Goblet of Fire chooses a champion from those two schools & from Hogwarts. Throughout the school year these three champions compete against each other in contests involving three magical tasks that challenge their ability with spells & how they cope with danger.
If you have always enjoyed trying to solve the mysteries in the previous books, there are plenty to puzzle over in this new one. Who entered Harry into The Triwizard Contest? Did they do it as a favor or to try to kill him off? Why is Moody, a new character who used to be a Dark Wizard catcher, searching Snape's office?
You'll love reading this book. Do you want a ride through the impossible, wonderful, mysterious & of course, magical world of Harry Potter? Then make sure you read Harry's newest adventure!
I really like this book, a major four teapots!!!

The Netherlands is one of the smallest countries in Europe. Most people call the Netherlands Holland & it is about the size of Connecticut, but with a lot more people, sixteen million. You may think of tulips, chocolate, windmills & wooden shoes when you think of Holland. Although there are still lots of tulips & chocolate, & there are still some windmills, you wouldn't see many people wearing clogs today.
