  If...Questions for Teens
   Evelyn McFarlane & James Saywell

(Associate Student Reviewer - Karrie G.)
  2001 Villard Books/Random House
    ISBN: 0375505555

Being a teenager is either the best or worst period of your life so far - as any adult will attest to if given half the chance. It's either the coolest age or the one you can't wait to grow out of!

No one understands you & too many are intent on trying to get you to mimic them! All about - Privacy - Freedom - Respect - Responsibility - Trust & Money.

Associate Student Reviewer Karrie G. writes:

If you were to pick any three friends to go to college with, which would you choose???

If you were to predict what your generation will contribute to the world, what would you say???

If you found out that one teacher in your school was secretly a rock musician, who would you guess it was???

If you were to name a family whose habits you find embarrassing or downright weird, who are they???

If there was one thing you think every kid should be warned about with regard to being a teenager, what is it???

Those were just some of the wacky, fun & tricky questions, in If…questions for teens.

It’s a good book to have at a sleepover or a party with some friends, with all kinds of thoughtful questions which asked are very often not only of teens, but also made up by teens. Which is why I think this book appeals to teenage readers.

If you write down all your answers on a sheet of paper, like I did, & afterwards look it over you’ll be surprised at what you’ve written. You should definitely have it on your shelf.

The Netherlands is one of the smallest countries in Europe. Most people call the Netherlands Holland & it is about the size of Connecticut, but with a lot more people, sixteen million. You may think of tulips, chocolate, windmills & wooden shoes when you think of Holland. Although there are still lots of tulips & chocolate, & there are still some windmills, you wouldn't see many people wearing clogs today.
Books make great gifts: no calories, carbs or cholesterol!
