M is for Manners
Mary Jesse
(Reviewer - Rebecca Brown)

2003 Hexagon Blue
ISBN: 0972995803

Abbey & Friends tell about how manners make for a nice life.

Come meet Abbey & her family -- her Mom, her Dad & her little brother, Max & their ordinary lives of going to neighbors for dinner, of how to behave & what being polite does.

Abbey is a straight arrow -- plays soccer, enjoys school & is observant, with a gentle sense of humor.

I enjoyed Abbey & Friends M is for Manners (the book includes a set of bookmarks) -- ideal for reading in groups. While it teaches pleasing manners, it is also a fun read. I'm looking forward to the next book in the series.

Ably illustrated by Jennifer Cherif.
