So begins this dreamy, achingly lovely bedtime book. Dar Hosta's pictures are radiant & evocative.

Her timbre is perfect in telling of the awakening of the nocturnal adventure where wiggles & whispers fill the wind.

I was absolutely enchanted as I stared at the images, relishing the cadence & humor of who comes out into the wild night.

The two page spread of fireflies & irises is exquisite! I hope Dar Hosta prints many posters for us to put up on our children's walls.

I hope I Love The Night is submitted for every award imaginable for Children's Books because it deserves every one of them!

A veritable treasure.
