Buddy is worried -- will Holly be back soon, is she gone for the day, or even forever?

Much to Buddy's relief, Holly returns, & they go for a walk in the park. There his fun is cut short by a pack of agile, hostile squirrels & then he watches a team of Dalmatian firedogs help fight a fire. Boy, is Buddy's self-esteem ever taking a beating. Will this day never end?

Buddy's day is a metaphor for the doubts & anxieties all children face, especially from their peers. God Believes in You is a soothing reminder for child & adult alike, that God will always be there for them.

Then it's off to obedience classes & Buddy forgets the golden rule & misbehaves, while all the other dogs look on. & this awful day finally ends!

& tomorrow comes with bright ideas on how to make friends, do your best & count your blessings, knowing God believes in you.

God Believes in You is charmingly written in verses, & once again Holly Bea has teamed up with the superb illustrator Kim Howard, who obviously adores Buddy too.
