Deep in the damp of winter, Lazelle offers us a bright Snowy Egret in the Florida sunshine, a warm view of Bougainvillea in Mexico, & a Grey Whale breaching in a teal sea.

The lyrical composition of Lazelle's photographs resonate in a pure exhilaration of the light & colors he found in his travels in Georgia, Idaho, the Canadian Rockies & Washington -- a magenta sunset, a field of lavender, a butterfly at rest, alpine flowers below snow on mountains -- all draw our eyes into the beauty of this earth, no matter how beset our days may be.

A native of Washington, Lazelle was raised in the Olympia area & received his bachelor of arts degree from Linfield College in Oregon. Together with his wife, Jane Hall, he studies the wilderness area of the Pacific Northwest.

Royal & Sunalliance has purchased several large Lazelle prints.
Olympic Medical Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation Center in Sequim, decorated its entire facility with Lazelle prints.
The Nature Conservancy chose Lazelle's photo of Northern Idaho for its national calendar cover.
