Of all three books from this poetic artist, Nature's Artistry is the one that fascinates me, because he sees the world in pictures & moments, focusing faces out of rocks, teddy bears out of tree stumps, red foxes in fungus, monsters in snow.

Remember when you watched a cloud change its shape & you thought, for a moment, Tigger was prancing across the sky? Because of my myopia, that happens a lot, & I used to think I was the only one who saw these apparitions.

Now, I'm very glad to present someone else who see such elusive & enchanting visions within visions, & has captured them in his lens. I especially like the couplets of photos which focus on the portrait, & then zoom out to the greater picture.

With a foreword by Dewitt Jones, Michael Thomas Impellizzeri includes quotations from luminaries such as John Muir; Charles Baudelaire; Carl D. Rollins; Chuang Tzu; William Blake; Henry David Thoreau; William Henry Hudson; Sir Isaac Newton; William Shakespeare; Aristotle; Marcel Proust, to name only a few.

Nature's Artistry is a wonder-filled way of learning how to see more in nature than meets the eye.
