Eva McCallEva McCall
is the granddaughter of Lucy Davenport Carpenter, with whom she lived for 19 years. Edge of Heaven is based on her grandmother's stories of her early years in the late 1800s, among the mountains of northeast Georgia & western North Carolina

Eva graduated from Pfeiffer College in Misenheimer, married George McCall, & moved to Flint, Michigan. There George worked for General Motors & Eva became a beautician. After their three children were grown & flown, Eva returned to her first love, writing. She attends writing workshops, & is a member of several professional writers groups.
